WeaveGrid — a software startup bridging the gap between electric vehicles and the grid — was looking to professionalize and refine their existing visual identity. I was responsible for the creative process from end to end, including conceptualizing the refreshed visual identity, building the brand guidelines, illustrating assets including the logo and iconography, and designing a robust suite of self-service templates.
The WeaveGrid leadership team felt it was important to treat this project as a refresh rather than a rebrand to honor the existing equity they had built as a company. My goal was to leverage the existing assets to create a new visual language that felt energetic, trustworthy, and sincere — elements core to the WeaveGrid brand.
