Planted Materials—an early-stage startup that manufactures renewable materials and chemicals from organic waste—approached me to help them develop a visual identity and website.
I handled the project from end to end, designing the identity from scratch; developing a brand kit including brand guidelines, templates, and an icon library; and wire-framing, designing and building the website in Webflow.
From the cyclical structure of wordmark to the textural dynamism of the photography style, the visual identity represents the company's mission to drive the circular economy by recycling organic waste. I wanted the identity to feel earthy but also vibrant to capture the bold vision of Planted Materials.
In addition to the visual identity, I was asked to design and build a site for the company with room to expand in the future. I built the site in Webflow and trained employees about how to easily update and add content.
